Mr. Kiel M. De Guzman Successfully Defends His Master’s Research at PNU - Manila
St. Edward School congratulates Mr. Kiel M. De Guzman, Principal of the Faith Campus, for successfully defending his research paper during his oral defense on June 18, 2025. This defense was part of the requirements for his Master of Arts in Education, major in Curriculum and Instruction, at the Philippine Normal University (PNU), Manila. His paper is entitled “Senior High School Students’ Literacy and Usage of Generative AI: Basis for Instructional Framework in Language Teaching.”
The oral defense was presided over by a panel of educators, with Dr. Gilbert S. Arrieta as Chairperson. The panel members included Dr. Florisa B. Simeon, Dr. Rita B. Ruscoe, and Dr. Ma. Victoria Colis. His study was guided by his research adviser, Dr. Wilma S. Reyes.
This academic milestone is a testament to Mr. De Guzman’s dedication to excellence, innovation, and lifelong learning—values that strongly reflect St. Edward School’s core values of Faith, Stewardship, Integrity, and Hard Work.

My Day as a Farmer 2025: Be a Riceponsible Edwardian
Now on its third year, My Day as a Farmer continues to grow as one of St. Edward School’s most meaningful and transformative initiatives. Organized and spearheaded by the Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) Unit, this annual activity forms part of the school’s celebration of National Rice Awareness Month, guided by this year’s theme: “Be a Riceponsible Edwardian.”
