Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Must be able to teach aspiring software developers critical skills like:

Qualifications:

  • Education: 
    •   Bachelor/college degree in IT, Computer Science or Engineering
  • Knowledge: 
    • 3 years or more of experience in developing web applications/services   
    • Understanding of Agile development methodologies and DevOps process including toolchain is a plus
    • Experience in automated testing, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) is a plus
    • Experience in production environment setup (infra, monitoring and support) is a big advantage
    • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
    • Experience influencing software engineers’ best practices within the team
    • Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between
  • Skills:
    • Prior teaching experience is a plus
    • Experience with web applications and programming languages such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, .NET Framework and c#.

    • Ability to share knowledge and skills with students

Job Description

a. Supervises and manages the school library/media center.
b. Provides services and resources that allow students to develop skills in locating, evaluating, synthesizing, and using information.
c. Serves as teacher, materials expert, and curriculum adviser to ensure that the library/media center is involved in instructional programs of the school.
d. Provides group instruction and individual guidance to students to help them locate resources and use research techniques.
e. Serves as an information resource for users of library/media center materials.
f. Initiates and implements library programs and activities that promote use of resources and encourages love for reading.
g. Performs preparatory tasks involved in the acquisition of new library resources such as encoding, printing of barcode labels, processing and proper dissemination of booklists and bulletins.
h. Prepares budget for acquisition of library materials and collection.
i. Prepares and keeps statistical records in the use of LRC resources.

Qualification

a. Registered Librarian is an advantage or with ongoing preparations for the licensure examination.
b. With minimum of two years of experience in library/media center in school setting.
c. Adept in library science, library information systems, and library services.

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management or any associated course.
  2. Relevant work experience/s with one-year relevant work experience.

  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in MS Excel.
  5. With good understanding in supply management.
  6. With strong attention to detail, negotiation and organizational skills
