BEYOND THE EDGE: ExtendED — ABCs of Edwardian

To develop citizens who are excellent in academics, well-formed in character, and catalysts for social transformation — this is the mission that guides every Edwardian.

Grounded in its Catholic character and family-centered community, St. Edward School believes that education is more than books, lessons, or classrooms. It is about reaching out, building bridges, and transforming lives.

ExtendED: The ABCs of Edwardian — Aspire, Bridge, and Cultivate — is a volunteer-driven community program that reflects this very heart. Each Saturday, twenty selected public school students from the school’s adopted community, Dulong Pader, participate in special learning sessions led by the dedicated faculty of St. Edward School. The goal is simple yet profound: to aspire for excellence, to bridge learning opportunities, and to cultivate values that empower young learners to dream bigger.

From a humble idea to help 20 students at a time, ExtendED has grown into a movement recognized through the Pawid Awards, organized by the Provincial Government of Cavite, in partnership with the Provincial Youth Development Office (PYDO) and the Office of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Pederasyon of Cavite, as an Innovative Program in Education.

This is the first episode of Beyond the Edge — a docuseries that captures how Edwardians live their faith, integrity, stewardship, and hard work beyond the confines of the classroom. Through stories like ExtendED, we witness how education can become a living act of service and hope.
